Remedial massage is one of the oldest forms of healing and has a curative and restorative effect on all aspects of being.

Muscle tension from mental and physical stress or repetitive activity can be painful. Muscles surrounding the injured or painful sites will contract to support and protect the area. Unresolved painful muscles can cause habitual pain and contraction in any area of muscles. This contraction of muscles may also compress nerves or slow circulation causing tingling, numbness or new pain areas.

Remedial massage reduces pain, increases circulation and flexibility, helps to flush away cellular waste products through the lymph system and improves your range of movement and enjoyment of life.

Essential oils (the life force of plants) may be added to enhance relaxation and reduce symptoms of fatigue and stress.

Massage can also be beneficial for pre- and post-natal support.
